	Timothy S. Shaw, Ph.D.

	Dr. Timothy S. Shaw received her Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Georgia and has been in the independent practice of Clinical Psychology since 1978. Prior to that time, she was the Director of the DeLand Mental Health Outpatient Center. She has been a consulting psychologist for the Volusia/Flagler Counties Child Protection Team and an adjunct Professor of Psychology for Daytona College and West Georgia College. She was an Assistant Professor of Psychology for Troy State University as well. She is past president of the Volusia County Social Services Planning Council and the Volusia County Psychological Association and a current member of the Florida Psychological Association. Her practice is primarily focused on the treatment of emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression as well as issues related to stress and anger management. She has extensive experience in treating victims of abusive relationships and with those who experience chronic pain conditions. Dr. Shaw utilizes the modes of Rational Emotive Therapy as well as Insight Oriented Therapy along with other appropriate methods, as needed.
